Dat Truong is a partner at Scientia. Dat has 20 years of experience practicing law. He gained experience at international law firms such as Mayer Brown and Tilleke & Gibbins before setting up his own firm and finally joining Scientia. Dat has deep experience in advising on foreign investment in Vietnam, licensing, and corporate and commercial matters. He advises foreign clients in establishing foreign-owned subsidiaries in Vietnam and helps them obtain operating licenses and permits. He has also advised on large cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

Dat has a strong litigation practice, representing clients before courts and arbitration tribunals.

Dat is currently teaching laws at the University of Technology of Ho Chi Minh City (HUTECH) as a visiting lecturer.
