Dr. Nguyen Quoc Vinh leads the firm’s practice. With a 30-year career spanning the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice and international law firms, Dr. Vinh specializes in M&A, banking and finance, real estate, energy, hospitality, insurance, fintech, arbitration, and other corporate matters. He advises high-profile clients on commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and dispute settlement.

Dr. Vinh’s credentials include past roles as a partner at Tilleke & Gibbins and a legal advisor at Mayer Brown. He earned his LLB from Vietnam National University, Hanoi (1994), followed by an LLM from Nagoya University (Japan) in 2003 and a Doctor of Juridical Science from Meiji Gakuin University (Japan) in 2006.

Dr. Vinh is also actively involved in the legal profession beyond his practice. In 2012, he was appointed as an arbitrator for the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and a mediator at the Vietnam Mediation Center (VMC) in 2024. He served as the Chairperson of the Vietnam Business Lawyers Club (VBLC) for the 2022 term and currently serves as an adjunct lecturer at Vietnam’s Judicial Academy and Ho Chi Minh City’s University of Law. He also provides counsel to numerous government ministries and contributes to legal and business publications. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Achievements from the Minister of Justice in November 2021.
